The K2 Family Foundationwas founded in 2006 by Margot and Robert Kelley for the purpose of supporting individuals who strive—through art, education, or action—to promote more creative and sustainable ways of living.

The K2 Family Foundation is a private operating foundation registered as a non-profit, charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. As such the foundation directs (and must direct) its own projects both independently or in partnership with other non-profit organizations.
