The K2 Family Foundation is pleased to co-sponsor the Art
and Conservation Stewardship Program with the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller
National Historical Park in Woodstock, VT, and to announce our
first joint Artist in Residence, Barbara Bosworth.
Barbara Bosworth
2008 Artist in Residence
Barbara Bosworth has been photographing the American landscape
since 1985. In myriad projects which emphasize people being
an interactive and integral part of an environment, she makes
images that reveal that humans are not separate from the land
and from nature, that instead we are part of it—shaped by
and shaping the landscape. Bosworth received a bachelor of
science degree from Bowling Green State University and a master
of fine arts degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Currently a faculty member at the Massachusetts College of
Art and Design, Bosworth exhibits widely, including—most recently—“Earth
and Sky” at the American Art Museum in Washington, DC.
